21. Jon Kortajarena
Why so beautiful?  His hair is perfection as is pretty much the rest of him... Please can I have him for Birthday?

22. PB&J on Toast
Still a firm favourite of mine and going strong. It has to be on Hovis granary light and nutty loaf, that is essential. I do not do white bread!

23. Original Source Lemon & Tea Tree
The smell of original source Lemon and Tea Tree always reminds me of holidays I've been on because we always use the shower gel, so it brings back all those memories. It's also just really fresh and zesty which makes me feel lovely and squeaky clean!

24. Stars
A pretty night sky, with shades of pink, purple and twinkly stars never fails to stir something in me.

25. Acoustic Guitar
When I was a teenager I use to want to be in a band so much (it didn't matter that I couldn't sing or play) I wanted to play bass and be the ideal match for Dougie from McFly... Those where the days. Ahem. I still really want to be able to play a musical instrument and would love someone to teach me or teach myself to play.

26. Plaits
Recently I've been getting my friend Josie who I work with and she use to be a full time hairdresser and now does it on the side. She's my personal fish tail plaiter!

 27. Brothers Cider
Brothers Strawberry Mixed Pear Cider, I cannot get enough of it right now!

28. Days Up Town
I love London days. My favourite places are; To chill in the park (St James or Hyde) Southbank. Shopping; Covent Garden, Brick Lane, Camden and Oxford Street of coarse. Nosh; Snog fro yo, Hummingbird bakery, Laduree, Giraffe, Wasabi, Yo Sushi, Eds Diner, Chiquitos. Visiting my favourite galleries V&A, Tate, Portrait Gallery.

29. Collars
Shirts & dresses with pretty lace, embellished or patterned colours.

30. Old Photos
If you know me or have been reading my blog for a while you will no how much I love digging out old photo albums, pouring over the past and re-visiting those great times gone. Check out my Past Times illustrations to see some of my favourite old photographs in drawn form.

None of these photos have been taken by myself they are from random tumblr searches and from saved files
If any do belong to you, let me know and I will credit or remove.

July in a Nutshell

'By Jaymie' the blog turned one.

My sister the baker made lovely cupcakes for me and it's birthday, any excuse really. Mr Panda was my favourite.

Finally saw Bridesmaids after wanting to for a couple of weeks.

Went to Afters for the first time, amaaaazing. I opted for a kids sundae the 'Bubbalicious' Bubble gum ice-cream, Mr whippy ice-cream, Marshmallows, Bubblegum sauce, 100s and 1000s, Flake and obviously some bubblegum. Have a look at their menu, total food porn. I think at the moment theres only the one in Croydon and Tooting but more might be popping up around soon.

I took my month long venture into the world of Potter by buying the Boxset which I have no sold on. Really enjoyed the films and love Ron so much.

Went to the theatre to see Ghost the musical for my Mums birthday with the Family.

Got my new MacBook !! Still a bit of MacBook pro but I'm getting there and I now know how to do a hashtag...

Mystery Jets in Kingston, They were so good live and really want to go see them again asap. Cheap as tickets for Kingston hippodrome as well, will definitely be returning for other bands! Also went to see Russel Kane do a warm up comedy gig in Islington the day after, I was very tired this week!

Ben & Jerrys festival! The perfect Summers day.

Harry Potter and the deathly hallows pt 2, dragged Linda along who has never seen any other HPs or read the books either and she liked it too.

Forever 21 opening! Had a girly LDN day with my lovebum.

New small business cards and stickers with my illustrations on from MOO.com, they have money off.

In many ways July has felt like such a long month! With the whole 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays! It feels like yonks ago my blog turned one and it must have only been 3 weeks? July has been quite a hectic, fun month. Just one more day of July to go and then after that I will be able to say 'I go on holiday next month' Oh yes! I am dead excited now. We have our safari sorted and are meeting up with the guy we've been corresponding with the day after we arrive. We decided on Tsavo East to West, just me and my sister 3 days, 2 nights Safari. It looks incredible. It's through Julius Safaris if anyone is interested, we did a lot of research into them and trip advisor are all positive reviews, we also emailed previous people who had been on a safari with them and they couldn't praise him or the company more and it really sounded amazing everything they described.

Magpie Eyes

(If any belong to you, please let me know and I will link or delete)

I wanted to do a Style Crush/ Illustration post today, but I haven't really had the time to finish one of the illustrations that I would have posted or to scan and format it. So I'm afraid some pretty tumblr inspiration pictures will have to do. I feel like a complete Magpie right now everything sparkly, shiny, glittery and glistening is completely catching my attention! There is a pair of black sparkly boots from Topshop they look a lot nicer IRL, that I am coveting and really want to don my feet in, £80 though yikes. I would so take out a Topshop card just to get them to get the 20% off then pay it off straight away but I also really love these blue velvet boots! I have some A/W posts planned, Wish lists, Runway edits, New season looks, just a fun personal look at one of my favourite seasons really. Happy Friday everyone.

27/07/11 In a Nutshell.

I had a tiring but a fun day yesterday. Woke up early to watch the rest of HP 7 just in case I orange weds it up in the evening which I did. I met Sally up in town even though we discovered we was in fact on the same train lolz. We went to the Forever 21 opening at Oxford Circus (closer to bond street though) which is actually amazing. I saw far to much stuff from there that I would very much like. All the rings, necklaces, dresses, shoes, bags. ah seriously! They were handing out free ice-cream in the cue (free ice-cream again eek!) we tried on loads of clothes but in the end I went for a dress, 2 blazers, a rucksack which is mainly for Kenya, but I really like it so will totes use it after. I also got some necklaces, long and layered! We also popped into Selfridges, grabbed a Starbucks to rehydrate after a lengthy time in F21 then for a walk and a chat, found a quaint little sweet shop, had lunch in yo sushi and then t 4.15 I rushed to get into Croydon to see Harry Potter for the 4.40 showing and I just made it!

Flower headband - Primark
Gold Cardigan - Primark
Maxi Dress - Miss Selfridge
Sandals - Tesco

This is the outfit that I wore on Sunday to Ben & Jerrys festival at Clapham Common. I love how this maxi dress is slightly shorter at the front and graduates at the back. Makes it harder to step on when descending down and up stairs, which I need all the help I can get with (accident prone)  HA! Look at me trying to stick my boobs out in the last photo booth shoot, glamour modelzzz in the making... or not. I hardly ever wear headbands like this but sometimes it's needed, that extra boho vibe. and it was £1.50 from Primark I think, so I couldn't help myself all those weeks ago.

I'm at aqua fit tonight with my girls after work. Haven't done it for so long so I hope I don't drown or anything. Literally feel so lazy. Last night I did do some Pussycat dolls dvd workout, it really makes me giggle it's so teasy and slap this slap that, grind those hips! I did also do a bit of a Zumba flat abs workout. I'm  trying to get back into it! Not much else planned this evening except I need to watch the last HP as I'm in London during the day tomorrow to meet up with my friend and then seeing HP in the evening so kind of need to see the first part of the Deathly Hallows. What you all been up to?

Sundae on the Common

Ben & Jerry's
Clapham Common 24/07/11

Ben & Jerrys sundae on the common was such a fun day out, the weather was amazing. Spending the day in the sun, feeling chilled out listening to live music, drinking pimms and eating bucket loads of free ice- cream (mint chic chip, phish food, Jamaican me crazy sorbet and cookie dough. yum) Caught a bit of sun on my cheeks and my back. Maximo park were really good and so was the Duke and the King.

We do the hippy, hippy shake!

Just a quick snap I took on photo booth, love my MacBook too much, and the new Lion software which I downloaded on Thursday evening for £20.99 all you Mac users, I totes recommend it! Makes everything so much easier and saves time, plus it's a bit of a bargain! You can see my chosen head attire in this picture which only lasted about 2 hours but it was sunny and a festival type day a quires certain looks and brings them out in me. I took some proper outfit shots as well depending on how good they are I'll post them up tomorrow. Wore my new Miss Selfridge maxi dress though, which I adore and is such an easy dress to wear.

One of my yesterday 'Sunday Smiles' made an appearance today. I sun lounged in the garden with a cold diet coke, listening to Belle & Sebastian. I also watched the 6th Harry Potter today and ohnoohno it was a little bit of a sad ending. I'm such a HP dunce that I really do not know any of the spoilers. God knows how I went 10 years without finding out. I love how I didn't give in to peer pressure growing up and know it's all over I'm like yes I'll get into that, 'I have to be different' as said to me by Michelle. I'm hoping to go see the final film on Wednesday, so I will have to just get the 7th film out the way before then.
